Our mission is to develop novel digital therapies that help patients take control of their mental disorders by helping them develop the necessary skills.
Based on our principles of patient empowerment and long-term prevention, our novel digital therapies allow patients to perform therapy on their own, with minimal physician supervision required.
Focus on patient empowerment and long-term prevention through patient skills building.
Emphasis on digital stand-alone psychotherapies that can be performed at home.
In recent years, it has been recognized that mental disorders can often develop a chronic course, with frequent relapses and recurrences that require additional psychotherapy strategies beyond acute depression treatment to keep patients depression-free for longer periods of time.
Our digital therapies focus specifically on maintenance psychotherapies that address recurrent forms of depression by reducing the risk of depression relapse and residual depressive symptoms that negatively impact psychosocial functioning and patient’s’ quality of life.
Mindfulness-based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) is a 8-week psychotherapy that integrates for the first time cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) with the concept of mindfulness and meditation.
MBCT has shown to reduce the risk of depression relapse by about 40% in subsets of chronically depressed patients and, in addition, to lower residual-depressive symptoms and to improve patients’ quality of life.
As a maintenance psychotherapy, MBCT has been adopted in clinical guidelines in several EU countries and in North America and offers treating physicians an alternative therapeutic option for treating recurrent forms of depression.
By offering MBCT as a digital therapy, we aim to significantly increase access to this therapy and give patients more freedom of choice to treat depression in a long-term, preventative way.
In addition to depression, MBCT has shown effectiveness as a psychotherapy for other indications (e.g., cancer).

Mindful Peach Tree’s digital therapies are developed as Prescription Digital Therapeutics (PDTx) in the form of digital mobile apps. PDTs have similar quality standards as classical pharmaceutical drugs; they are validated by controlled clinical studies and approved by regulatory health authorities.

Mental health's importance to overall health is being recognized more and more today. It is the center and focus of our clinical development.
With our digital MBCT development, we plan to provide patients and clinicians with a non-pharmacological treatment alternative and choice in the fight against severe mental illness.
Using MBCT as a platform, we are considering development for various mental health indications, with depression being our primary focus, in various European and North American markets.
Due to the low resource requirements of our digital therapies, we envision that our therapies can be used in high population countries with a lesser mental health infrastructure.
Depression is a terrible disease affecting many. We are now seeking a crowdfunding for the clinical development and testing of our novel digital therapies for recurrent depression.
Mindful Peach Tree's philosophy is based on the premise of enabling patients to treat their mental illnesses in a largely self-determined and preventative manner through digital therapies.
We believe that digital technologies in particular are especially well suited for this purpose and can help broad patient populations, especially due to their universal accessibility.
The founding team has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, including the development of novel drugs and therapies, and plans to leverage this knowledge for the development of prescription digital therapies (PDTs) to treat major diseases, making these therapies in a resource-efficient manner.
